Mitsubishi Outlander vs. Nissan Rogue: Which Compact SUV Offers More for the Money?
If you want a compact SUV for easy maneuverability in the city, yet you need seating for seven passengers - get the new Mitsubishi Outlander. This compact SUV is one of the few in its class to offer a third row of seats. The Outlander also has a wide array of user-friendly tech features. The new Nissan Rogue is also a roomy compact SUV, but it can't match the Outlander's overall quality. At Richmond Mitsubishi, we designed the following comparison to help you choose between these two crossovers.

Performance: Ride and Handling
Mitsubishi re-tuned the Outlander's suspension, giving it a pampering ride on the streets of Richmond, VA. Its responsive steering and strong braking keep it composed around turns.
The new Nissan Rogue has light steering that makes it simple to navigate, but allows a bit more body roll around turns. It also rides somewhat jittery on rough roads.
Interior: Passenger Space
If you've got more than five in your family, the new Mitsubishi Outlander is the obvious choice. It holds up to seven passengers in three rows of spacious, supportive seats.
The new Nissan Rogue only offers two rows of seats with room for five passengers. The second row lacks enough legroom for taller riders.

Technology: Infotainment
A good infotainment system keeps you and your family amused on long drives in and outside Richmond. The new Mitsubishi Outlander comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto for an effortless connection to your smartphone apps.
The new Nissan Rogue comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen. To get a 12.3-inch screen in the Rogue, you must pay more for a higher trim.
Price/Value
Despite having three rows of seats and a larger infotainment touchscreen, the new Mitsubishi Outlander's starting MSRP is only around $400 more than the new Nissan Rogue Rogue's entry-level cost. You get more for your money with the Outlander.
